Touch for Health

I am now offering kinesiology Touch for Health in the Czech Republic. Touch for Health is a return to the roots of kinesiology. It is essentially the art of muscle testing and acupressure to balance the energy of the body, so as to release what is preventing the body from reaching its full potential. This means a fulfilled life in a healthy body.

Touch for Health works mainly with the energetical body. Mental work is kept to a minimum. A goal is defined at the beginning of the session to give the session a framework. The goal can be something very specific, but realistic. It should meet the four P's, i.e. be defined positively, in the present, be possible, and personal. Alternatively, also defined precisely enough and a bit performant, i.e. somehow personally charged. It could be I can move my right arm freely, I can run a mile in 8 minutes, or even I sleep well and wake up full of energy.

This is followed by muscle testing to determine where energy is not flowing as smoothly as it could and corrections. There are sessions that are explicitly physical, just "moving the arms and legs", occasionally rubbing or holding some points on the body. In some sessions some emotion may come up, which again we mainly observe and let pass.

Ethics and self-responsibility are very important. The kinesiologist is there to make the muscle test, occasionally ask an open question.

As with any method of kinesiology, we do not cure, we do not diagnose, we are not psychologists or therapists. Only by using certain non-invasive techniques can we help the client to come into balance, gain a new perspective on their situation and perhaps even find the strength to confront what has previously seemed intractable.

Let me mention the book Touch for Health (LILLEY, Toni, 1994, Touch for Health – a Step by Step Guide to Natural Health, Australia: Lilleykins Qld, 5. ed. 2021, ISBN 1-921149-04-7, p. 7 ff.) "For the average person, it is no longer a secret that the body exists as both a physical and non-physical entity; that we have an energic "blue printů that directs the grosser manifestations of the body in its incredibly intricate workings.

Althought so called primitive cultures around the world have been aware of this concept for thousands of years, our Western society has, in some ways, been a victim of its own mechanisctic scientific dogma influencing modern medicine to view the body in an almost totally anatomical and physiological way. Fortunately, this is rapidly changing.

Percieving the body a a multidimensional wholistic cration rather than a s a complex machine makes Touch for Health an effective instrument in allowing people to explore and harmonise these dimensions.

Touch for Health is seemingly easier to learn. The training path includes "only" 4 two-day modules. After the first two-day module, one is able to perform basic balancing using 14 muscles, Fix as you Go. In the following modules, more muscles, more corrections and techniques follow. However, practice is a must. Without an experienced instructor and regular practice, it's just a collection of information that can be googled in a few minutes these days. As the title suggests, Touch for Health offers a balance to today's virtual age. A personal presence is required, a personal experience, you can't touch somebody via Zoom.
