First of all, it is necessary to say what the term professional kinesiologist means. In the world it is different. In some countries, kinesiology is Government recognised and here the requirements are regulated by legislation. In most countries, kinesiology federations or associations set the rules. The aim is always to ensure that clients receive a quality and ethical service in the broadest sense of the word, including, for example, the proper handling of sensitive client data.
A professional kinesiologist needs to know what they do and why they do it. But he is also experienced enough to know where his and his client's boundaries are. He/she is able to communicate clearly with the client and is aware of the ethical and possibly legal issues related to his/her work. Overall, he or she is able to ensure that the kinesiology session is conducted in a way that is beneficial to the client.
All this requires knowledge and practice. The muscle test itself looks very simple, but its correct use in all circumstances requires experience. This also applies to other techniques. The point is not to learn everything by heart, but to know the principles.
The Touch for Health training, including the final exam, is approximately 80 hours long. The training is very loaded, i.e. most of the attention is devoted to mastering the techniques. Upon completion, you will have a solid basic understanding of basic kinesiology techniques and be able to apply them.
The One Brain® training is significantly more comprehensive, with 352 hours. However, in addition to practical techniques, you will also learn about all other aspects of working with public. Much attention is paid to communication, understanding the overall concept and philosophy of kinesiology as such, sharing experienc with practical work with clients, ethical and legal issues.
The courses we offer total approximately 430 hours of classes. According to most foreign kinesiology associations, this is the bare minimum to call oneself a kinesiologist, but mainly to be able to provide services to the general public with confidence and with sustainable results.
